Description

With this filter disc in AISI304 stainless steel specific for Braumeister BM50 you will no longer need to buy spare parts as it is not made with mesh but with micro-perforated and stretched sheet. You will no longer have the problem of fraying the weft which, in addition to considerably ugly the filter, makes it difficult to clean with the risk of even pinching your fingers.

Obtained by shearing a micro-perforated sheet therefore, obviously, the edge cannot be smooth but has tips which, however, being a single piece, do not fray with use. By zooming the image you can see the border

The filter disc with 0.9 holes is slightly smaller than the original.

The filter disk with 1.5 holes is slightly larger than the original

Almost all of them use the filtering disc with 0.9 holes, the most similar to the original, but those who have tried the 1.5 filtering disc do not change it anymore. Pump flow increases, efficiency also increases by 4 points. Very important is the correct grinding with the right amount of flour, this is learned with experience. Obviously some small pieces can escape because the holes are bigger

So much better than the original

Completed two brews with these and no problems. The originals tended to curl up and allow the grain to creep underneath but as these are stiffer, that hasn't happened so I'm pleased with that. The 1.5mm holes haven't had any adverse effect so that's good too.
And one BIG plus point is that they don't have sharp ends of wire poking out so no more stabbed fingers!

Excellent!

Way better than the wire mesh that came with the machine as it won't come undone overtime on the edges. The hole size is just right.
Slightly larger than the disc, as statet.

Is already my second set since I upgraded from the 20l machine to the 50l variant, and this disc was the first thing I bought before even switching it on for the first time.
